A sculptural Danish stoneware vase attributed to Valdemar Petersen for Bing & Grøndahl. Its cylindrical body, rounded shoulder and flared neck are decorated with geometric relief motifs alternating with finely textured vertical panels.
Deep brown and olive glaze is accented by warm rust tones along the raised decoration and rim. The underside bears the Bing & Grøndahl factory stamp, model number 231 and an incised monogram consistent with the Petersen attribution.
